Artist's Comments

This is a copy of a painting done by William Trust Richards in the 19th Century. I was drawn to it due to the unusual color combinations

The color of the sea is beautiful. Great work!

Well behaved women rarely make history.

The way you painted the waves really makes it look like transluscent water. The colors combination is very unusual, but it's beautiful and really catches your eye. It seems so peaceful, even though the waves are crashing down on the rocks. It's really great.

I love to go to the schoolyard and watch the children jump and scream, but they don't know I'm using blanks.

There is somethting airy and freshness in this scenery, perhaps it's due to the colours and the transparency of the waves. I like this. Somehow it resembles the famous russian artist Ivan Aivazovsky's works, [link]
